TCS, Cisco, come together for digital transformation solutions

TCS and CISCO agreed to set up a center of excellence for developing digital solutions utilizing Cisco’s DNA-C platform.

While the center will look at developing new Networking-oriented transformation solutions, it will also help TCS to optimize other digital solutions for the enterprise's customers by optimizing network performance.

TCS and Cisco have also partnered with several organizations to help them in their digital transformation journeys.

Center of Excellence and Cisco solutions 

The center of excellence aims to solve application performance challenges faced when the network starts performing at peak loads and with static controls. The CoE will leverage software-defined networking to speed up network response times that results in superior customer experience.

The announcement noted the availability of Enterprise Compliance Enforcement – Network. The solution uses the Cisco platform’s capabilities to micro-segment the network and isolate critical assets. It helps network administrators comply with various industry-specific compliance policies.

In May, Cisco expanded its partnership with the Tech Mahindra, to drive automation, security, and analytics. Tech Mahindra deployed the Cisco digital network architecture at its Hyderabad development center.

Previously, Dutch connectivity solutions provider NXP semiconductors signed a deal with the TC in July. As a part off the deal, TCS cognitive automation product Ignio and its private cloud would be harnessed to improve the enterprise supply chain operations.

A few days back, TCS also expanded its deal with the logistics and postal group Posten Norge to improve the customer experience.
