Insurance provider Swiss Re selects TCS to build Digital Workspace

TCS has expanded its 18-year old alliance with insurance provider Swiss Re to help the latter build a more social and open digital workspace.

Swiss Re Group is a leading wholesale provider of insurance, reinsurance, and some other insurance-based forms of risk transfer. It was founded in 1863 and is based out of Zurich.

Insurance Provider Swiss Re and TCS strategic collaboration

The insurance provider will see the TCS leveraging Microsoft technologies to develop Swiss RE’s future and cloud-based digital workplace as well as manage its underlying operations.

The technology firm is targeting to deliver a personalised, insights-driven user experience to around 18000 Swiss Re end users. TCS also revealed that it would set up self-help and self-heal operations. TCS will also implement best practices of DevOps while facilitating out-of-the-box endpoints.

The firm will also prioritise innovation in the areas of immersive experiences and AI with the edge of technology support, which will give a further boost to Swiss Re’s hybrid alliance strategies.

Swiss Re operates with a network of around 80 offices across the globe.
