Mindtree signed a deal with Knauf for its Digital Transformation journey

Today, Mindtree has revealed a multi-year digital transformation engagement with the German Constructions products manufacturer, Knauf.

Knauf was founded in 1932. To support its business growth, the company intends to transform its enterprise architecture, among other things, by adopting new technologies.

Venu Lambu, Executive Director and President, Global Markets, Mindtree, said, "We are proud to partner with Knauf, a brand synonymous with high-quality products and services, on its digital initiatives to help serve customers more rapidly and efficiently. Mindtree offers the scale, global operating model and expertise in infrastructure and applications management to help drive their digital transformation initiatives forward and provide the quality of service they are known for".

Mindtree and Knauf's Digital Transformation

In the year 2019, Knauf completed its $7 billion all-cash acquisition of the construction materials maker, United States Gypsum Corporation, nearly a year after the offer was accepted. The engagement will Mindtree is targetted towards post-merger technology integrations. 

Mindtree added that it would also provide application development services. It will also help Knauf in digitizing infrastructure and transform supply chain systems. Mindtree will also develop digital platforms at Knauf, notes the announcement.
