Infosys BPM to use AI, Automation and Design Thinking to Digitize Delivery Model for Newmont

Infosys BPM, the business process management subsidiary of Infosys, has now extended its collaboration with the Gold mining company Newmont for five years.

Newmont is the world's leading gold company and a producer of silver, copper, lead, and zinc. The company's world-class portfolio of prospects, assets, and talent is anchored in the jurisdictions in South America, Africa, and Australia.

Infosys BPM and Newmont partnership

Under this newly renewed agreement, Infosys will continue to assist Newmont with the standardization and digitization of delivery models across its mine sites. It will also leverage Artificial Intelligence, automation, and design thinking methods to deliver increased business value for the Newmont.

The company will offer end-to-end digital services to Newmont with its platform as a service offering. It will also offer a DigiTran solution that helps advanced techniques such as simulation, knowledge management, automation, Artificial Intelligence, and cognitive services, to enable the remote transition of services and establish and build a standard operating procedure, knowledge base.

It aims to improve the Newmont touchless invoice processing across their accounts payable processes and provide a digital command center for real-time visibility into process health metrics and analytical models to identify root causes.

Infosys has also been beefing up its global teams to support its digital transformation projects across the globe.
