Wipro joined hands with Microsoft, Citrix on Digital Workspaces

Wipro has now joined the hands with the Citrix and Microsoft to help customers maintain business continuity in a post Coronavirus Pandemic world.

Wipro revealed that it would integrate a host of services from Microsoft and Citrix to create a cloud-based virtual computing environment. The combined solution will allow for the efficient deployment of reliable and secure digital workplaces, notes the announcement.

The solution aims at accommodating remote working while still adhering to resilience, cost, compatibility, and performance objectives. Wipro is bringing it’s a Desktop as a Service solution, VirtualDesk to the partnership, while Citrix has a host of digital workplace solutions such as desktops, gateway, virtual apps, and workspaces.

The integrated solutions are expected to help customers enable productive work from home atmospheres.

Wipro, Microsoft and Citrix Partnership

Microsoft technologies will accelerate cloud Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions deployment. Microsoft is also bringing its Azure Active Directory and multi-factor authentication. Windows Defender's advanced threat protection will also be integrated into the business continuity solution.

Wipro IP based solution accelerators, application lifecycle management tools and cloud migration assessment tools will help organizations to identify the right set of applications for their business continuity needs. 

In the month of March this year, Wipro sets up Microsoft Business Unit to meet customers' Digital Transformation needs.
