ECI Software Solutions, a Texas-based provider of cloud-based business management solutions, has now acquired BuildTools. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ECI offers business software solutions and services, focusing on cloud-based technologies. The company offers Cloud-based ERP software. The company serves small to medium-sized manufacturing, retail/wholesale distribution, construction and building, and field service organizations.

Founded in 2010, BuildTools offers SaaS Project management tools for the construction industry

ECI's BuildTools Acquisition

BuildTools will become a part of ECI’s Residential Home Construction Group. Further, the BuildTools team will report to ECI’s Residential Home Construction Group President, Scott Duman.

To further accelerate BuildTools growth, ECI revealed that it is planning to invest in platform development, customer success, and go-to-market strategies.

The acquisition helps ECI to penetrate smaller custom builders and home remodelers market segment, notes the announcement.
