Lufthansa Cargo signed a deal with IBS Software SaaS hosting platform for five years

IBS Software's SaaS cloud solution will host and maintain iCAP cargo handling application platform for Lufthansa Cargo.

A five-year contract is signed between IBS Software and Lufthansa Cargo. As a part of the deal, IBS will host and maintain Lufthansa Cargo’s iCAP cargo handling application platform.

IBS Software is a leading global provider of new-gen IT solutions to global Transportation, Travel, and Logistics industries. IBS Software provides with an end to end new-gen IT systems to the global aviation industry across the process areas – cargo operations, airline passenger services, flight and crew operations, airport operations, and aircraft maintenance engineering.

According to the announcement, IBS' zero outage SaaS offering will help the Lufthansa Cargo to manage round the clock cargo handling operations across all the time zones without any disruptions.

IBS software platform was selected after careful evaluation of critical capabilities like application availability, security regulatory and data privacy.

Around one million messages are processed per day at Lufthansa Cargo. Now each message is processed much faster than earlier with IBS Software SaaS platform, notes the announcement.
