Computer vision AI models platform, Synthesis AI secured $17 Million in Series A Funding

Synthesis AI, a California based provider of synthetic data technologies to build advanced computer vision AI models, has now secured $17 million in a Series A funding round.

Synthesis AI was founded by Yashar Behzadi. It is a technology company that uses synthetic data to build more ethical and capable computer vision models. Via a proprietary combination of the generative neural networks and cinematic CGI pipelines, the platform can programmatically create wide amounts of perfectly labeled image data at increased speed and reduced cost as compared to the current approaches.

Synthesis AI's Latest Funding

The round was backed by 468 Capital, with participation from Strawberry Creek Ventures, PJC, Bee Partners, Kubera Venture Capital, iRobot Boom Capital and Sorenson Ventures.

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to grow its team, introduce new products to help companies to build more advanced complex vision models, and expand research surrounding the intersection of the CGI and AI with a focus on the neural rendering, modeling of complex human behavior and mixed training.
