Dental Artificial Intelligence software provider Overjet secured $42.5 Million in Series B funding

Overjet a Boston based dental Artificial Intelligence software provider, has recently secured $42.5 million in a Series B funding round.

Overjet was founded by Dr Wardah Inam. It offers dental AI technology that encodes dentist level understanding of disease identification and progression into software, supporting dentists to deliver the best patient care and insurers to operate accurately and efficiently.

The round was backed by the Insight Partners and General Catalyst. Other participating investors include existing investors E14 Fund and Crosslink Capital.

The company, which has secured around $80 million in total funding to date, as of now has plans to use the new funds to accelerate hiring and product development, notes the announcement.
