IBM sets up new Cloud and AI powered BPO facility in Hyderabad, India

IBM has set up a Greenfield facility in Hyderabad, India which will provide customers business process operations (BPO) consulting from IBM Consulting.

The new unit will be zeroing in on various domains such as accounts, procurement, finance, human resource, supply chain, and recruiting as well as industry-specific processes which include compliance and risk.

IBM's New facility at Hyderabad, 

The new capabilities will help to execute IBM’s hybrid cloud and AI strategy.

The facility will also serve as an additional function of enabling resiliency for the purpose of IBM Consulting. It will act as a backup site for the business process operations (BPO) centers in Bangalore and Chennai, notes the announcement.

The onsite team will also collaborate with IBM India in Hyderabad to bring in the Artificial Intelligence and platform offering to re-imagine intelligent workflows in the customer operations.
