Tech Mahindra gets AWS Level 1 MSSP Competency Status

Tech Mahindra has secured Amazon Web Services (AWS) Level 1 Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) competency status.

The AWS Level 1 MSSP status means that Tech Mahindra has met the Amazon Web Services requirements for the baseline managed security services to protect and monitor the resources of AWS.

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Level 1 Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) Competency status ensures a baseline quality standard. The standard covers six cybersecurity domains, which include network security, cloud security compliance, vulnerability management, threat detection, application security, and host and endpoint security.

Infosys and Wipro are well-known AWS Level 1 MSSP companies in India and across the globe. AWS has 27 such MSSP Level 1 partners including Atos, Sophos, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, among others.

The validation process by AWS includes an annual test of the tools and operational processes of each MSSP, which includes continuous event monitoring, service-based best practices, and incident response.
