Shoppers Stop has now selected Accenture to drive the company's digital transformation needs across the multiple retail channels as well as move into an omnichannel retail model.

The Shoppers Stop with the help of its digital transformation initiatives intends to achieve profitability in its digital commerce revenues in the next three years.

According to the Mordor Intelligence report, the market size of the global digital transformation market in retail is valued at $143.55 billion in 2020. The same market size in retail is expected to reach $388.51 billion by 2026.

Shoppers Stop's Digital Transformation

Shoppers Stop has been working on a digital transformation strategy since the second half of 2020.

With the help of Accenture, the company, as of now, has plans to strengthen its digital platform via analytics and data analysis-based solutions. The new digital solutions are expected to be deployed for the retail giant sales, supply chain operations, and last-mile delivery. Accenture’s deployments are expected to offer a single view of customer and market insights for better decision, contextual marketing, and customer targeting, notes the announcement.

Shoppers Stop is expected to improve User Experience (UX) to help customers with better ‘browse, order, search and return’ requirements online. Shoppers Stop, as of now, offers shopping via the website, WhatsApp, and phone apps.
