Safexpress partners with IBM to deploy Cloud-native Logistics Platform
Safexpress has now collaborated with IBM to deploy an end-to-end cloud-native logistics platform to transform both its customer experience and business operations. The IBM Global Business Services has developed this logistics platform PROPEL-i for Safexpress.
PROPEL-I will allow field staff to work from anywhere and frees Safexpress to migrate to a desktop-free environment which maximizes the office space, notes the announcement.
Safexpress was incepted in 1997. It offers a range of supply chain services which includes third-party logistics, express distribution and consulting to its customers.

Safexpress and IBM partnership
The internal logistics operations platform is expected to help Safexpress to remodel its core business processes. It will also help the company to further expedite the adoption of next-gen technologies and digital solutions.
The cloud-based platform, PROPEL-I, enables Safexpress to obtain dynamic pricing modeling capabilities, attain agility in demand management along with enhanced visibility and transparency for its customers.
The platform leverages the container management capabilities of Kubernetes to offer availability, scalability, and security with a self-healing runtime environment.
The platform API integrates with the Safexpress' customer system and streamlines workflows, builds efficiencies in internal processes, and offers better integration capabilities. The project consists of multiple components such as associate contracts, customer contracts, associate management, and booking, notes the announcement.
