Cisco completes Acquisition of Cloud Communications startup IMImobile for USD $730M
Cisco has recently completed the acquisition deal of IMImobile PLC, a cloud-based communications software and services that manage business-critical interactions at scale.
As per the announcement, Cisco is paying a purchase price of around USD $730 million. IMImobile is founded by Jay Patel. It automates, monitors, and delivers the customer interactions that drive the best experiences.

Cisco's acquisition of IMImobile
IMImobile will bring the key cloud communications software and communications platform as a service technology. It helps Cisco in expanding the capabilities of Cisco Webex Contact Center to deliver a comprehensive Customer Experience as a Service (CXaaS) offer.
By utilizing and combining the IMImobile solution with the WebEx Contact Center, Cisco will be able to provide an improved customer experience as a Service (CXaaS) solution.
This new offering will bring together cloud contact center, collaboration and communications platform as a service, and artificial intelligence to create a single solution that will give organizations the ability to provide high-level experiences for customers.
The IMImobile team is going to join the Cisco Contact Center business unit, notes the announcement.
