IBM to acquire Nordcloud to boost its Hybrid Cloud Consulting Capability

IBM is now going to acquire Nordcloud, a Finland-based provider of cloud implementation, managed services, and application transformation. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Nordcloud is founded by Fernando Herrera in the year 2011. It is a European leader in the cloud transformation services, which is certified in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform. The company has its offices in 10 European countries.

IBM's Nordcloud Acquisition Deal

The acquisition deal is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the first quarter of FY 2021.

This acquisition deal helps to advances the IBM cloud migration and transformation capabilities.

According to IDC and Gartner, the market for cloud professional services will exceed around $200 billion by 2024.
