Cognizant acquires AI/ML startup Inawisdom

Cognizant has now acquired Inawisdom, a UK based consultancy specializing in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics services. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Inawisdom is founded by Neil Miles in the year 2016. It focuses mainly on delivering cloud-native, full-stack solutions leveraging proven consulting methodologies with the help of analytics and machine learning platform built using AWS (Amazon Web Services).

The company has its offices in the Netherlands and the UK.

Inawisdom will help Cognizant expand consulting capabilities in the key focus areas of Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and digital engineering. Inawisdom is an AWS Premier Consulting Partner for machine learning and data and analytics expertise.

Previously in 2019, Cognizant acquired Contino to offer end to end cloud-native AI and Machine Learning solutions. Inawisdom will join Cognizant's Digital Business group along with Contino, notes the announcement.
