SaaS startup Guuru secured $5 million in Funding

GUURU Solutions, a Swiss-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) customer service startup has now secured $5 million in a Series A funding round, reports TechEU.

Guuru is founded by Tonio Meier in the year 2005. It offers a SaaS platform that combines AI with human support to enable the organizations to leverage their community of experienced product users to help support seeking customers in a real-time scenario as well as provide feedback of their chats to the SmartBots, expanding its learning curve.

Executive Opinion

Martin Altorfer, the Managing Director of Spark Invest, said, "It is obvious that machine learning-powered solutions are the future in customer service. The fact that GUURU combines it with peer-to-peer support makes this solution so powerful and exciting. We strongly believe that involving the community is a big differentiating factor to the common automated approaches on the market."

GUURU Solutions latest funding

The round, which brings the total funding to $7.9 million, was backed by Spark Invest. Other participating investors include EquityPitcher Ventures, Swiss Post Ventures, and Investiere.

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to double down on its expansion in Europe while continuing to invest in product development.
