Computer Vision startup Chooch AI secured $20 Million

Chooch.ai, a San Francisco based computer vision AI platform, has now secured $20 million in a Series A funding round.

Chooch.ai is founded by Emrah Gultekin. It offers a horizontal visual Artificial Intelligence platform that replicates human visual tasks and processes by generating fast, accurate visual detection across a wide range of industries.

Its technology has been deployed at scale for industries which include security, industrial, healthcare, geospatial, US government, and retail.

Vickers Venture Partners Chairman Dr. Finian Tan said, "AI startups and established players in artificial intelligence often focus on vertical applications. Chooch has a bigger vision, a horizontal AI platform that provides flexible solutions for the common demands of many companies, regardless of industry".

Breakthroughs and market growth numbers at Chooch AI are staggering".

The round was backed by the Vickers Venture Partners. Other participating investors include Alumni Ventures Group, 212, Streamlined Ventures, and Waterman Ventures.

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to add data scientists, build its strategic engineering team, and create a global sales force.
