ATP extends Infosys partnership, To leverage Big Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Technologies



ATP has renewed its partnership with digital services and consulting company Infosys for three more years.

ATP is the governing body of the men’s professional tennis circuits such as the ATP Challenge Tour, ATP World Tour, and the ATP Champions Tour.

As a technology partner for six years, Infosys supported the ATP digital assets and infrastructure, which includes the ATP Stats Leaderboards, ATP PlayerZone, ATP App, and ATP Second Screen.

Pravin Rao, Chief Operating Officer, Infosys, said, "The ATP Tour was our first partnership in the sport of tennis, and together with ATP, we’ve continued to push the boundaries of how fans, players and the media are involved and engaged in the game. As we take rapid strides in our sixth year partnering together, our focus remains on supporting ATP’s vision to reimagine the game leveraging data to deliver unique insights and digital experiences through next-generation technologies."

The partnership renewal will enable the ATP to utilize technologies such as Big Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud, leveraging its tennis platform to deliver diverse experiences for players, fans, and media across the globe.

ATP will also leverage the Infosys solutions to offer data-driven insights for the match statistics.

Apart from that, on the 50th anniversary of the Nitto ATP finals, ATP and Infosys have launched Flashback 50. It's a data-driven web experience to statistically compare the champions across the five decades of the Nitto ATP Finals over the past 50 tournament editions, notes the announcement.
