Lululab, a South Korean-based AI skincare assistant startup, has now secured a Series B funding round. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Lululab is founded by Yongjoon Choe. It is a developer of a medical platform intended to provide analysis of entire facial skin. The company platform provides services like analysis with AI, product recommendation, and faces shooting, thus enables users to take complete care of their facial skin.

Executive Opinion

Yongjoon Choe, CEO of lululab, said, "We will accelerate the distribution of AI-based, contact-free beauty solutions," he added. "With this investment, we plan to expand our business in the skin analysis and beauty sectors and to evolve into a provider of solutions for skin-related conditions and diseases."

Lululab's latest funding

The funding round was backed by the Netmarble. 

Additionally, CTK Investment, Global Medical Research Center, and L&C Bio have also participated in the funding round. 

With the help of this latest funding, lululab will synergize with Netmearble AI technology while continuing to cooperate with Coway in the home wellness appliance industry, notes the announcement.

Moreover, the startup will also be using some of its funds in expanding business, signing an MOU in October with L&C Bio for the development of a new platform.
