NeuraLegion secured $4.7 Million in Funding

NeuraLegion

NeuraLegion, an Israel based application security platform enabling DevOps professionals, developers, and application security specialists to secure web applications and APIs, has now secured $4.7 million in seed funding.

NeuraLegion is founded by the Shoham Cohen, Bar Hofesh, Art Linkov, and Gadi Bashvitz in the year 2018. It provides a platform improving application security by providing a )-false positive, AI-supported DAST & Fuzzer solutions that are purpose-built for modern development environments.

The solutions integrate into DevOps environments and enable users to run DAST scans as a part of their CI/CD pipeline to identify a broad set of known and unknown security vulnerabilities.

The company has offices in London, Tel Aviv, and San Francisco.

Executive Opinion

Shoham Cohen, Co-Founder, and CEO of NeuraLegion, said, "NeuraLegion is rationalizing application security for modern development organization. We're enabling developers, QA professionals & application security specialists to secure their applications and APIs early in the development process, eliminating hours of wasted time looking into detected false positives. To optimize security and speed, remediations and fixes become a native part of an engineers' workflow; that can be accessed through the command line, existing development ecosystems (CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Devops, or CircleCl), ticketing systems such as Jira, or through consoles"

Hiro Rio Maeda, the Managing Partner at DNX Ventures, said, "Along with increasing pressure on DevOps to deploy software faster, security threats to enterprises are rising significantly. The only way to solve this problem is to implement an automated, low friction (for DevOps) and 0-false positive security testing solution. The DAST market has been long stalled without any innovative approaches. NeuraLegion's next-generation platform introduces a new way of conducting robust testing in today's modern CI/CD environment."

NeuraLegion's Latest Funding

The round was backed by the DNX Ventures, with participation from J-Ventures, Fusion Fund, and Incubate Fund.

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to scale its solution. It will allow the company to develop on top of the modern platform. The company also intends to build one of the best dynamic application security testing (DAST) across discovery, detection, speed, and 0-false positives, notes the announcement.

NeuraLegion is launching a self-serve product for developers to sign up in a matter of minutes.
