Conversation Intelligence startup Balto secured $10 Million


Balto, a St. Louis-based provider of real-time guidance for the contact centers supported by the Artificial Intelligence, has now secured a $10 million in Series A funding round.     
Balto is founded by Marc Bernstein in the year 2017. It is a leader in real-time guidance for contact centers. Its AI-supported software solution evaluates both sides of a phone call and instantly delivers critical information that enables agents to perform at the highest level humanly possible.

Balto’s CEO and Founder, Marc Bernstein, said, "Balto is bringing the most aggressive Real-Time Call Guidance solution to market at a time when sales and customer experience agents and managers are working remote and need even greater support. Unlike other conversation intelligence solutions available today that provide only post-call analytics, Balto uses AI to guide customer conversations on-the-fly, helping agents say the right thing, at the right time. As a result, call centers see a substantial increase in conversion rates, more quickly ramp new agents, and improve customer experiences."

Managing Partner at Sierra Ventures, Tim Guleri, said, "Fueled by demand for enterprise applications like CRM, ERP and business intelligence, and the skyrocketing growth of recordings as businesses have gone virtual, conversational intelligence is poised to become a multibillion market in the next few years. Balto's Latest Funding

The round was backed by the Sierra Ventures, joined by the OCA Ventures, Jump Capital, Cultivation Capital, and others.

Post funding, Tim Guleri, Managing Director and Partner at Sierra Ventures, will join the Balto Board of Directors team.

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to shift the way contact centers do business, extending the reach of its real-time call guidance solution via an increase in product functionality.
