Hayden AI, a California-based urban mobility company, has now secured $5 million in a funding round.

Hayden AI is founded by Chris Carson, Vaibhav Gadiok, and Bo Shen in the year 2019. It provides urban mobility solutions, which enable cities to bring safe, healthy, and equitable mobility to the public. 

Executive Opinion

Chris Carson, Co-Founder & CEO of Hayden AI, said, "We envision a world with safe roadways, efficient transportation, and fair and equitable mobility for all. Leveraging our expertise in the autonomous vehicle space, we've created technology that does just that. This funding enables us to connect additional smart cities and move forward with our vision."

Hayden AI's Latest Funding

By leveraging edge computing and Artificial Intelligence to process real-time data from mobile cameras, Hayden's AI-powered platform is able to create vast and detailed situational awareness.

Paired with a knowledge and reasoning engine that fully automates the detection of any kind of traffic violation, the solution eliminates the need for human review, inherently filtering out inefficiencies and bias.

The Autotech Ventures led the latest funding round. Other participating investors include Tsingyuan Ventures, Bootstrap Labs, etc.

The company as of now has plans to use the new funds to accelerate product development to help cities avoid traffic fatalities and improve efficiency,  notes the announcement.
