Cloud Agronomics, a Boulder, CO and Providence, RI-based enterprise technology startup, has now secured $6 million in a seed funding round.

Cloud Agronomics is founded by David Schurman in the year 2017. It collects the hyperspectral data and uses the machine learning models to produce analytics on proprietary geospatial data containing high information per pixel. 

Through their integrated platform, company evaluates the performance of crops and soil in real-time, providing the industry with the nutrient and soil management solutions that accelerate restorative farming practices.

Executive Opinion

Vivek Ladsariya of SineWave Ventures, the company's lead investor, said, "Cloud Agronomics' ambition to connect the public and private sectors with their technology will allow carbon based incentives to be distributed in a measured and accurate manner".

Cloud Agronomics' Latest Funding

The round was backed by the SineWave Ventures.

The company plans to use the new funds to foster the expansion of its carbon monitoring and digital agronomy products throughout Australia, the US, and Brazil, notes the announcement.
