Parabola secured $8 Million in Series A Funding round led by Matrix Partners

Parabola

Parabola, a San Francisco based company that enables everyone to automate their repetitive data tasks, has now secured $8 million in Series A funding round.

Parabola is founded by the Alex Yaseen. It is a drag and drops productivity tool for everyone to automate the repetitive tasks with the help of a library of customizable, prebuilt steps.

The company also announced integration with Shopify to automate Shopify work with a visual, drag-and-drop interface.

Executive Opinion

Parabola founder and CEO, Alex Yaseen, said, "What we’ve learned throughout the course of history is that when you provide the right tools, people build amazingly creative and clever solutions. While modern technology has the potential to be extremely empowering for everyone, most people don’t have access to the right tools to express their ingenuity. That’s ultimately what we’re working toward at Parabola-- bringing the power of programming to everyone."

Robert Walker, VP of Growth at UMZU, said, "Parabola has been our light in the dark. In ecommerce, there are a million things going on at once and a thousand different platforms to use. Parabola has given us the opportunity to quickly access the data from all of these platforms and bring that data together to help us form important business decisions. With a small team, it can be hard to find the time to develop and write code. With Parabola, we went from 0 to 100 in a week. No code needed, no developer or data scientist hired, just quick access to all of the information we required."

Parabola latest funding

The round was backed by the Matrix Partners with participation from the Thrive Capital, Elad Gil, with additional angels as well as previous investors.

Post funding, Matrix General Partner Ilya Sukhar will now join as the Parabola Board of Directors team.

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to hire engineering and design talent to accelerate product development, deliver rich experiences, and incorporate new integrations for its base of eCommerce customers.
