Warehouse Exchange secured $2.2M in Seed Funding Round

Warehouse Exchange

Warehouse Exchange, a Los Angeles, California based on-demand warehouse platform supported by AI, has now secured $2.2 million in a seed funding round.

Warehouse Exchange is founded by Jonathan Rosenthal and Dan Pimentel in the year 2017.

It offers a digital marketplace that allows eCommerce companies and small businesses to find warehouse space.

Executive Opinion

David Thomas, Principal at LBA Realty, said, "Warehouse Exchange offers the unique combination of technology and supply chain expertise that will deliver a unique digital marketplace. The company uses technology to address the current inefficiencies in warehouse inventory usage and gives corporate users flexibility in the length of term and size of warehouse space."

Grant Langston, CEO of Warehouse Exchange, said, "There are three main hurdles for small business owners in finding warehouse space today -- painful lease requirements, outsized space minimums, and restrictions on access to their inventory. Warehouse Exchange solves these challenges for customers looking to buy space. We also help warehouse owners quickly monetize their underutilized space, getting premiums over market rate. Our vision is to bring advanced technology to the warehouse industry so we can reinvent the business, similar to what Airbnb created one of the world's largest marketplaces for unique, authentic places to stay."

Warehouse Exchange's Latest Funding

Xebec Realty led the latest funding round. The high net individual investors from distribution, eCommerce, and retail companies also participated in the funding round.

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funding to hire additional talent at its Los Angeles office, to build its advanced AI technology platform as well as to invest in its sales and marketing platform, notes the announcement.
