Cyient ties a deal with Microsoft to accelerate IoT solutions

Cyient has recently collaborated with Microsoft to accelerate the deployment of the Internet of Things (IoT) services for its customers.

Founded in 1991, Hyderbara, India based Cyient focuses on the engineering, data analytics, manufacturing, and network and operations segments. To date, company has secured $15 Million, according to CrunchBase.

The Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT program ensures that IoT solution's hardware and software are pre-tested and verified to work with the Microsoft Azure IoT services. Thus accelerating IoT implementation of IoT solutions for customers.

Cyient flagship product IoT Edge Gateway 5400 is now Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT. Customers find it difficult to connect IoT devices to the cloud due to the complexity involved in the process. Now, an Azure IoT certified edge gateway solution from Cyient allows customers to connect legacy machines and next-gen intelligence devices to the industrial internet of things (IoT) network and cloud.

Cyient Edge Gateway 5400 also offers connectivity and communication protocol options, advanced data processing, and edge analytic capabilities for remote asset monitoring solutions, notes the announcement.
