Autonomous Breach Protection Startup Cynet secured $18 Million Funding

Cyent, a New York and Israel based Autonomous Breach Protection Company, has now secured $18 million in Series B+ funding round.

Cyent is founded by the Eyal Gruner and Netanel Amar in 2015. It offers an autonomous breach protection platform that consolidates and automates monitoring and control, attack prevention and detection, and response orchestration across the entire environment.

It delivers these capabilities by continuously collecting and analyzing all endpoints, files, and network activities across the protected environment.

Cyent's Latest Funding

The Deutsche Telekom strategic investment and Telekom Innovation Pool led this latest funding round. Merlin International, Norwest Venture Partners, BlueRed Partners, and Ibex Investors also participated in the funding round.

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to expand in the US market and international markets to deliver its Autonomous Breach Protection platform. The funds will be also leveraged to advance scale its security platform, notes the announcement.
