Thales picks Google Cloud to expand Secure Activation of eSIM solution

Thales, a Paris based technology solutions provider, will leverage Google Cloud to deliver scalable and secure activation of eSIM.

The initial deployment of GSMA certified eSIM activation solution platform running on Google Cloud.

The eSIM management solution expected to help telecom operators to support a global increase in the volume of embedded mobile subscriptions, notes the announcement.

The solution will also include data analytics and the protection of the subscriber data.

Thales' eSIM remote subscription platform running on Google Cloud will offer operational flexibility in terms of capacity management and auto-scaling.

As of 2020, Thales has more than 80000 employees spread across the 60+ countries, including India, and had generated revenue of $19 billion.
