Spectrm secured $3 million In Series A Funding round backed by Runa Capital

Spectrm, a Berlin-based AI-powered conversational marketing platform, has secured $3 million in the Series A funding round, reports Techcrunch.

The Runa Capital led the latest funding round.

Founded in 2016, Spectrm offers an artificial-intelligence-powered conversational marketing platform for businesses. It automates personalized, one-on-one conversations with customers in messaging apps to turn them into buying customers. The company has raised a total of $4.5M in three funding rounds to date, according to CrunchBase.

Executive Opinion

In the report, Max Koziolek, co-founder and CEO of Spectrm, said, "Our vision is to combine the power of conversations with the reach of the largest platforms in the world… we believe conversation is a deeply human experience that is more effective and more insightful than any other format in marketing."

Dmitry Galperin, the partner at Runa Capital, said, "Instead of trying to cover all marketing communication channels, it is much more effective to direct efforts to those that generate the most customer insights and highest ROI. Conversational marketing is one of those channels."

Spectrm's Latest Funding

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds in developing the platform further, invest in machine learning and to make their footprint in the US.

The platform enables the marketers to guide the customers from websites, advertisements, and messenger apps like Facebook Messenger to final purchases.

The company client base includes the KLM, Renault, Groupon, eBay, and more.
