Crypto payment network TemTum deals with Shufti Pro to offer KYC services

TemTum is now partnering with the Shufti Pro to offer to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening services for its customers, reports CoinTelegraph.

TemTum is an efficient, ultra-fast, quantum secured, and environmentally friendly payment coin.  TemTum can be easily used on a standalone platform from wallet to wallet or integrated into payment system across the globe.

The CoinTelegraph report records a statement from David Shimmon, Chairman of TemTum, who said, "The primary motivations for the agreement with Shufti Pro are improving KYC/AML screening processes and differentiating themselves from other crypto companies 'who were seen as malicious.' We believe that these kinds of partnerships are essential to building trust and confidence for the industry, and for increasing business opportunities. We need to further the industry’s reputation as trusted and reliable. All transactions remain on the blockchain with the exact same level of security and confidentiality. For the avoidance of any doubt, information related to KYC is handled and administered primarily by a third party.”

TemTum and Shufti Pro

As a part of the strategic deal, Shufti Pro will be going to verify the TemTum client KYC data, which includes the names, document numbers, expiration dates, Date of birth, document issue dates, and addresses.

The partnership also allows the adoption of the European Union Fifth Anti-Money Laundering initiative that helps to tightened KYC measures on the financial platform.
