Brain Corp, a San Diego, California based Artificial Intelligence Company creating transformative core technology in the robotics industry, has now secured $36 million in the Series D round of funding.

The funding round was backed by the existing investors SoftBank Vision Fund 1, with the participation from some of the new investors which include the Satwik Ventures, ClearBridge Investments, and an additional investment from Qualcomm Ventures LLC.

Brain Corp is founded by Dr. Eugene Izhikevich. It is an AI company creating core technology for the robotics industry. It supports the machines in producing, deploying, and supporting robots across the commercial applications and industries.

Autonomous robots are playing a vital role in supporting essential businesses and their workers during this health crisis. This investment will help us continue our pace of innovation and fuel our growth as we execute on the opportunity in front of us."

Brain Corp's Latest Funding

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to expand growth into new applications of robotics apart from inventory delivery, floor care, shelf analytics, and applications that help to increase the productivity of employees, enhance customer experience and reduce costs.

The newly raised funds will be used to support the sales efforts of OEM partners in APAC and Europe region, notes the announcement.

Some of its client's bases include the Dane Technologies, Nilfisk, Tennant Company, Alfred Karcher SE & Co. KG, Minuteman International, among others.
