Accenture revealed third Innovation centre in India

Accenture has recently opened its third ‘innovation hub’ at Pune, India. The centre intends to employ around 1200 people working on the latest technologies.

The hub is located at SP Infocity, Pune, which will also be going to feature Accenture second Nano lab in the APAC region, notes the announcement.

At the Pune centre, clients will be able to co-develop, innovate with Accenture experts in some of the extended reality, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Quantum Computing, and Blockchain across sectors, said the notes.

Group chief executive, Accenture Technology Services, Bhaskar Ghosh, said, "Rapid technology innovations are increasing the competitive pressure on businesses across the globe. Our new Innovation Hub in Pune will bring together the best of Accenture’s technology and innovation capabilities from around the world, enable our clients to scale their technology investments and boost their business outcomes across the enterprise, and create new opportunities for local talent."

Two Indian cities, that is Bangalore and Hyderabad have Accenture's Innovation hubs. Accenture's Innovation hubs are present at Recife and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Other locations fo Innovation hub include one each in China, Canada, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, and Australia.

The Accenture Nano Lab will showcase breakthroughs in applied research from the Accenture Labs across the globe, that features the uses for latest advanced technologies such as the extended reality, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing.

Accenture's' Innovation Hubs allow its customers to connect with researchers in Accenture Labs globally through immersive sessions and workshops.

Just a few days back, Accenture acquired London based Mudano to enhance it's Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) transformation capabilities.
