Komodo Health Secured $50 Million in Series C Funding Round

Komodo Health, an AI-based healthcare startup, has secured $50 million in the funding round of Series C round.

The funding is led by Andreessen Horowitz, America’s Venture Capital Firm with the participation of Oak HC/FT and Komodo prominent investors Felicis Ventures and IA Ventures.

Komodo Health is founded by the Web Sun and Arif Nathoo in the year 2014 with the motive of reducing the disease on a global level with the help of a healthcare living map.

Komodo is the first to facilitate a longitudinal perspective, end-to-end, across every possible episode of care as a foundation for disease predictions, notes the announcement.

Latest Funding for Komodo Health

The recently secured funding will help the startup to achieve its digital health mission by using the ‘living map’ to accelerate healthcare with more effective drug development and spreading healthcare awareness all across the globe.

Komodo Health is also planning to use some of the funding to build an advance software for healthcare companies with the help of its pile of information and R&D. It also wishes to scale up its network by initiating a deal or partnership with government entities, payers, patient advocacy groups, and others.

Komodo collects the data from the host of medical industry sources like the insurers, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and some other medical firms across the US by using the AI to examine the most useful mass.

This analysis will help the doctors and medical researchers to understand more about the patient demographics that why certain cases have worse health outcomes.
