IBM Unveils Its Second Automation Innovation Centre in Pune

IBM, which is a Multinational Information Technology company, has now opened an automation innovation center (AIC) in the Pune, Economic Times reported.

The new center will focus on Intelligent Automation and the future of work. IBM will also demonstrate its flagship automation platform, automation operations command, and digital worker suite of solutions center at the facility.

Executive Opinion

In the Economic Times report, Vice-President - Automation, IBM Global Business Services India, Amitava Sharma, said, "Together with the AIC in Bangalore, the Pune Centre will address automation mandates for IBM’s clients with special focus on global captive center clients in and around Pune. This strategic investment will play the critical role of a catalyst to help our clients define and develop optimized intelligent workflows that will seamlessly run on hybrid multi-cloud environments."

The Automation Innovation Center (AIC) 

Industry verticals solutions for insurance, banking, telecommunications, healthcare, and retail sectors will be showcased at Pune AIC. At these centers, IBM clients can access IBM’s expertise in automation from scalable RPA delivery to AI/ML-based industry solutions, which are running on the hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Further IBM clients can take advantage of IBM's partnerships with RPA vendors such as Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere and Softomotive, notes the report.

The first automation innovation center (AIC) was opened in the year 2017 in Bengaluru, India.
