We are proud to provide the latest state-of-the-art equipment and technology to GMDA to realise its Digital Gurugram vision and achieve its objective of a safe and secure smart city”.

Cisco and Smart city solutions

Cisco's smart city digital solutions will power the state of the art command center. It will be a nodal point for traffic management, city surveillance and become a foundation for an integrated video surveillance system, notes the ET report.

The system will be going to be deployed at all 115 sectors of the Manesar and Gurugram, falling under the GMDA.

Cisco claims that its analytics engine enables the safe data exchange across the community infrastructure, while it's Stealthwatch and Firewall will deliver the advanced threat detection and more in-depth forensics.

Cisco's solutions are integrated with a layer of Artificial Intelligence that will help city law enforcement to monitor and detect criminal activity more easily, notes the ET report.
