Infosys bags Digital Transformation Services deal from Volvo cars

Infosys has been selected as one of the main providers of the digital transformation services for Volvo cars.

Sweden, Gothenburg based Volvo cars are owned and operated by the Chinese automotive group Geely. Volvo plans to use these digital transformation services for its enterprise digital commercial operations applications and products.

As a part of the agreement, Infosys will provide the next-gen applications services using it's Global Delivery Model (GDM), automation, agile delivery, and some other service optimization levers to deliver effective service operations, the announcement says.

Infosys will use its expertise from the Fluido, a leading Salesforce advisor and consulting partner in Nordics. The Fluido is one of the largest and longest-tenured independent Salesforce Platinum Consulting Partners in Europe and an Authorized Salesforce Training Delivery partner in Nordics. In 2018, Infosys acquired Fluido to position itself as a leading Salesforce enterprise cloud services provider and cloud-first transformation provider.

Fluido expertise will be used to bring up with the Salesforce localization and capabilities to accelerate the Volvo Cars Next-gen retail and consumer experience roadmap, notes the announcement.
