Infosys and Microsoft to Digital Transform JG Summit Holdings

Infosys today announced the partnership with the Microsoft to formulate and execute the digital transformation strategy for JG Summit Holdings.

Headquartered at Manilla, Philippines, JW Summit Holdings is one of the largest and most diversified businesses with an interest in a wide range of sectors including banking, food, manufacturing, petrochemicals, publishing, power generation, real estate, air transportation, and telecommunications.

Infosys will be going to serve as the technology service provider to the JG Summit Holdings, said the announcement.

President and CEO, JG Summit Holdings, Lance Y. Gokongwei, said, "Our objective is to embed digitization into our core business strategy across units, subsidiaries, and affiliates. Through the partnership with Infosys and Microsoft, we aim to accelerate our digital transformation journey which will enable us to address evolving business requirements, facilitate easy and secure collaboration among employees and offer better service to our end customers."

The partnership with JG Summit is also aligned to Infosys’ strategy of helping our clients navigate their next by augmenting their core digital capabilities, advancing their operating models and transforming their talent for the future.”

Infosys other deals in digitization

Infosys will help the JG Summit Holdings to implement and migrate to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Infosys will also implement the SAP S/4 HANA, an enterprise resource planning solution, on the Microsoft Azure platform, the announcement notes.

Infosys plans to use its hybrid IT management platform, Infrastructure Management Solution Suite to facilitate the digital transformation project. The platform will allow the Infosys to adopt and govern the cloud environments such as the Microsoft Azure.

Infosys will also deploy its learning solutions Wingspan to facilitate the upskilling of the employees of the JG Summit Holdings.

In August, Infosys also partnered with Microsoft to offer the smart space solutions to Irish IT service provider Johnson Controls.
