Infosys to deploy Cloud Based IoT solutions for Toyota Material Handling North America
Toyota Material Handling North America has selected Infosys to develop a cloud-based, Internet of Things (IoT) enabled telematics solution, according to recent Infosys press release.
Toyota Material Handling North America, is the leading provider of forklift sales and is composed of three main groups of companies: Toyota Industrial Equipment Mfg, The Raymond Corporation and Toyota Material Handling USA.
As a part of the collaboration, Infosys will help to develop Toyota Material global telematics solution, which can be leveraged to perform tasks like the vehicle access control, system maintenance, and location tracking.
The telematics solution will also help the manufacturer process data to draw insights on how to improve services and after-sales customer experiences.
The solution will be going to be paired with the Infosys ValuePLUS service, which will offer application support and development for the Toyota SAP Platform, which even allows it to improve productivity and efficiency, said the announcement.

The company is leveraging frontier technologies to automate operations for their clients.Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait has partnered with EdgeVerve Systems, a subsidiary of Infosys to steer its automation journey using AssistEdge Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
In June 2019, this year, Infosys announced their a long term IT services strategic partnership with Toyota Material Handling Europe. Infosys planned to digitally transform by rolling out a scalable digital hybrid cloud platform, providing application services, digital workplace, infrastructure management and a dedicated data center operation.
