Decimal Point Analytics, a Mumbai based financial research and analytics company, has now secured $4.7 million in a funding round.

Decimal Point Analytics was founded by Shailesh Dhuri in 2003. It offers research and data analytics products and services, which include AI and ML-based solutions.

Its key client categories include Asset management companies, insurance companies, broking houses, data providers and private equity firms.

Shailesh Dhuri, the CEO of Decimal Point Analytics, says, "Over the past years Decimal Point Analytics' ability to bring AI and ML in financial research has helped extensively transition to the new paradigm and see the growth momentum continuing in ESG and related fields. With the investments, we are looking to expand our services in risk management, catastrophe modelling, actuarial services, and others. Using the latest and innovative technology will enable our clients to achieve significant enhancement through quality, timeliness, and efficiency."

Decimal Point Analytics' latest funding

The round was backed by the Unnamed global insurance company in the GCC region.

The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to build DPA’s delivery capability, strengthen the team and create a technology platform to facilitate their customer operations.
