AI compute solutions platform d-Matrix secured $44 Million in Series A Funding

d-Matrix, a California based provider of AI compute solutions for the data centers, has now secured $44 million in a Series A funding round.

d-Matrix was founded by Sid Sheth. It aims to bring a DIMC based inference to a compute platform to market. The company has developed a novel AI compute platform that uses a combination of the intelligent ML tools and software approaches paired with chiplets in a Lego Block formation, enabling the integration of multiple programming engines on a common package.

The round was backed by Playground Global, SK Hynix, and M12.

The AI startup, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to build out its product roadmap and grow its team across India, the US and Australia – which as of now consists of around 50+ members, 30% of whom are PhD, representing a mix of both technical and operational experience.
