AI customer service platform Netomi secured $30 Million in series B funding
Netomi, a California-based Artificial Intelligence first customer service platform that enables companies to deliver high-quality customer experiences while reducing cost, has now secured $30 million in a Series B funding round.
Netomi was founded by the Puneet Mehta. It is a provider of Artificial Intelligence-first customer experience designed for the relationship economy. Its Artificial Intelligence-powered virtual agents automatically resolve routine customer service inquires, decreasing resolution time and increasing customer satisfaction as well. The no-code platform works across email, messaging, chat and voice and understands 100+ languages.
Executive Opinion
Puneet Mehta, Founder and CEO of Netomi, said, "Customer service is going through a crisis – it’s expensive for businesses, frustrating for customers and inconvenient for everyone. This situation is only exacerbated post-pandemic due to labor shortages and the global supply chain slowdown. Customer care teams have more support tickets than ever before and fewer people to solve them. The only proven option to provide 24/7, immediate and omnichannel support and build profitable customer relationships is with AI."
Jeffrey Katzenberg, Co-Founder & Managing Partner of WndrCo, said, "The rate of digital transformation is going to be 10X more over the next ten years than the last ten. One of the most exciting areas will be in the area of customer experience. Netomi’s AI is transforming how companies and their customers interact, and helping them create deeper and more profitable customer relationships."
Netomi's Latest Funding
WndrCo led the funding round, with participation from Fin Venture Capital and Eldridge, which brings the total funding to date to $52 million.
The AI company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to scale its business operations, serving customers across the new verticals and in more locations and hire across every division, with plans to double its headcount in the next six months.
