TCS to help NXP Semiconductors for Digital Transformation

TCS has now partnered with the semiconductor organization NXP to help with latter with its digital transformation initiatives and solutions aimed at better user experience (UX).

NXP, which is headquartered in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, helps manufacturer’s semiconductor chips in the areas of the industrial, automotive, mobile, IoT, and communication infrastructure markets.

TCS will leverage its Machine First approach and knowledge of the semiconductor industry, AI, and automation to enhance the value chain for NXP.

Olli Hyyppa, Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President, NXP Semiconductors, said, "TCS demonstrated an understanding of NXP's environment and identified transformational opportunities. They will be a crucial partner in building our vision of an agile and lean IT environment that is essential to keep pace with our ever-growing drive to innovate."

TCS and NXP digital transformation

As a part of the partnership deal, TCS will aid the NXP with its integrated IT services strategy across the IT infrastructure, applications, and workplaces services.

TCS said that it would address services in the manufacturing, enterprise, and engineering functions. The new IT solution platform is expected to improve the speed of innovation and offer better efficiencies.

Additionally, TCS will also help the NXP with its cloud adoption needs, notes the announcement.
