Bed Bath & Beyond Mexico has now selected Algonomy, to personalize its digital commerce search experiences with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).

Algonomy, founded in the year 2003, works with more than 400 retailers, QSR chains, consumer brands, convenience stores across the 20 countries and is backed by the likes of Temasek. The AI startup provides customers with its Algorithmic Customer Engagement (ACE) platform that hosts customer activation and analytics.

Adrian Valenzuela, Chief Digital Officer at Bed Bath & Beyond Mexico, said, "With an 86% increase in digital growth last year and twice as many customers buying online, we needed a stronger digital strategy for serving a 'digital-first' omnichannel experience. Search is no more just another tool, it's a key business lever, and a relevant and engaging experience can help our shoppers find what they need and complement in-store assistants online."

Bed Bath & Beyond will use the Algonomy service offering FIND, which brands itself as an AI-enabled customized search. The software will help personalize search results for shoppers to improve findability.

Bed Bath & Beyond, as of now has 1460 stores in the Canada, Mexico, and US regions and sells a wide assortment of merchandise in the baby, home, beauty, and wellness markets.

At the Mexican online stores, Algonomy’s FIND will integrate with Adobe’s Magento eCommerce platform and use real-time shopper behavior to personalize search results.

FIND works on Algonomy’s real-time streaming catalog. It will always be used to make sure that catalog changes are indexed in a real-time scenario so that the critical product attributes are always up to date.

Bed Bath & Beyond digital stores will now be able to use real-time behavioral data and shopper profiles to uniquely personalize search results for each and every shopper, notes the announcement.
