AI-powered Clinical Research Platform, BEKHealth secured $4 Million funding

BEKHealth, a New York based provider of AI-powered clinical research software platform, has now secured $4 million in funding round.

BEKHealth is founded by Jason Baumgartner, offers an AI-powered platform that accelerates and improves the clinical research processes by combining electronic medical record data processing, site selection and feasibility, care coordination and precision patient trial matching.

Supported and powered by machine learning, the company AI model combine more than 400 unique medical libraries and 70000 research protocols with an interoperable clinical data model to power the clinical research software platform

Jason Baumgartner, founder and CEO of BEKHealth, said, "For years, clinical research sites, research personnel, and trial participants have been underserved by aging technology, cumbersome workflows, and poor and untimely access to critical data. The round was backed by Excelerate Health Ventures. Other participating investors include the syndicate partners Boston Millennia Partners, Martin Ventures, Change Healthcare, and Connecticut Innovations.

The company as of now has plans to use the new funds to continue to grow its team and expand the availability and adoption of its platform, notes the announcement.
