Pune based Persistent Systems joins IBM Cloud Partner Ecosystem

Persistent Systems

Persistent Systems, a Pune-based information technology services firm, has joined IBM’s partner ecosystem leveraging IBM's Automation Foundation and IBM Cloud Paks for Automation.

IBM Cloud Paks for the Automation is an Artificial Intelligence-powered portfolio. The offering helps in automating tasks based on data analysis and improve workflows that run centrally, in networks, and at the edge.

Built on the technology of the Red Hat OpenShift, IBM Cloud Paks for Automation provides enterprises with a flexible, portable, and secured path to optimization by automating business and IT processes to accelerate growth.

Executive Opinion

Jiani Zhang, Executive Vice President of IBM Alliance Sales, Persistent Systems, said, "Uniting AI together with automation is increasingly critical as the pace of business accelerates. We are proud to work with IBM and our mutual clients to deploy solutions across operations, networks and the edge. Few organizations can match our deep knowledge of the IBM portfolio and proficiency in hyperscale cloud platforms."

Evaristus Mainsah, General Manager, IBM Hybrid Cloud, and Edge Ecosystem, IBM, said, "IBM Cloud Paks for Automation offer ecosystem partners like Persistent the flexibility, security and portability to automate business and IT operations, unlock the true value of their data and accelerate their path to digital acceleration. IBM's growing ecosystem increases opportunities for customer to tap into the IBM Automation portfolio to streamline operations, increase efficiencies and accelerate revenue growth."

Persistent Systems and IBM Cloud Partner Ecosystem

As a part of the partner ecosystem, Persistent Systems will use IBM’s Automation Foundation and Cloud Paks for the Automation. Persistent Systems already works with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation, IBM Robotic Process Automation, and other network automation solutions.

The Pune headquartered company already has the Red Hat Center of Excellence. The unit has more than 2,000 containerized software and Kubernetes-trained professionals along with 300 plus Red Hat-accredited sales and delivery experts, notes the announcement.

IBM’s partner ecosystem is a new initiative to support partners to help their customers modernize and manage workloads using the IBM solutions.

Automation Foundation offers both Artificial Intelligence or machine learning and robotic process automation-driven hyper-automation solutions to enterprises to resolve challenges and inefficiencies in the IT and business processes.

Persistent Systems will help clients manage and modernize mission-critical workloads across the hybrid cloud environments with IBM's new Automation Foundation and IBM Cloud Paks for Automation.
