AI-powered Data Security and Privacy platform, Securiti raised Funds from Cisco Investments

Securiti, a California-based Artificial Intelligence-powered Data Security and Privacy platform, has now secured funding from Cisco Investments.

Securiti is founded by Rehan Jalil. It is a provider of AI-powered data security, compliance, and privacy for multi-cloud and self-managed systems. Organizations across the globe can simply use Securiti to secure and govern data and comply with global security, data, and privacy regulations.

Rehan Jalil, CEO of Securiti, said, "Enterprises require a common view of sensitive data and the ability to detect, track and granularly control it - whether it’s used in multicloud deployments, passing through SASE, shared over an API or with a third-party app, being used or being moved. Securiti will help enable a distributed perimeter of security, privacy and compliance controls around multicloud data in a unified way."

The exact amount of funds secured were not disclosed.

The company, as of now, has plans to work with Cisco and help their clients solve the challenges of multi-cloud and edge security, compliance, and privacy.
