Infosys to use Cobalt Cloud offering to integrate Spirit AeroSystems IT Infrastructure
Infosys has now partnered with the US Aerostructures manufacturer, Spirit AeroSystems.
Spirit AeroSystems is a leading manufacturer of components, parts, and assemblies for commercial aircraft. The company offer product and services in the areas of underwing components, wings, composites, fuselages and spares/repairs.

Sam Marnick, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Spirit AeroSystems, said, "We look forward to partnering with Infosys on our efforts to further diversify our business and strategically position Spirit AeroSystems for the future. Infosys and Spirit AeroSystems Partnership
As per the deal, Infosys will help Spirit AeroSystems to set up end to end application. Also, Infosys will use its system integration expertise, partners ecosystem, along with extensive knowledge of the aviation sector to help with the integration, notes the announcement.
Infosys will also help Spirit AeroSystems to integrate with the infrastructure of Canadian business jet manufacturer Bombardier, which the company acquired last year in the month of October.
Infosys will build the IT framework of the Spirit AeroSystems via its cloud-based enterprise services, Infosys Cobalt. Infosys Cobalt offers around 14000 cloud assets along with 200 top cloud solution blueprints, according to the Infosys Cobalt website.
