ScienceLogic, a Virginia-based provider of AI-driven monitoring solutions for hybrid cloud management, has now secured $105 million in a Series E funding round.

ScienceLogic is founded by Dave Link. It is an IT Operations Management platform offering IT operations with actionable insights to predict and resolve problems faster in a digital world. It's IT infrastructure monitoring and AIOps solution sees everything across the multi-cloud and distributed architectures contextualized data via relationship mapping and even acts on this insight with the help of automation and integration.

As large enterprises shift workloads to the cloud while managing on-prem resources, new tools are paramount to deliver service visibility and faster incident resolutions made better by advanced AI/ML technologies. What we're witnessing is a major investment cycle away from legacy monitoring tools and toward AIOps platforms."

ScienceLogic's latest funding

The round was backed by the Silver Lake Waterman. Other participating investors include Intel Capital, Goldman Sachs, and NewView Capital.

The company as of now has plans to use the new funds for recruitment efforts and product investments aimed at cloud-native technologies, which include AI/Machine Learning, microservices, container solutions, and hybrid cloud operations, notes the announcement.

ScienceLogic is also expanding its product development, engineering and sales, and marketing staff.
