For 5G network Rollout, Three UK selects TCS

TCS has now been selected by the London based network carrier Three UK to help with the 5G network connectivity rollout.

Three UK was founded by Robert Finnegan in the year 2003 and has been in partnership for the past 15 years with TCS. Its 5G services started rolling out in the month of August 2019. The company has an employee strength of 4800, across the cities of Reading, Maidenhead, and Glasgow.

TCS, Three UK, and 5G Network

Three UK is as of now in midway through deploying a new 5G radio access network connectivity. It is already implemented across the 175 cities and towns in the UK.

TCS will manage the entire configuration of next-gen mobile network core connectivity. TCS will also make sure that it integrates with the 5G radio access network.

TCS' responsibilities also include performance management, site upgrades, configuring the core network for the new site deployments, and tuning the 3G/4G changes, notes the announcement.
